~~New Creation~~

Just had a hair cut recently. Pretty good deal...USD15 @ MasterCut, Crossgates. It is SO MUCH lighter compared to pass few months. Like it or not, it is always after we made some changes then we realized how much the changes are needed. How do we know whether the change is good or bad? Personally, i think that a positive change will bring peace, calm, joy and hope => You will feel so much ease, relax and light-hearted once the decision is made. You won't feel regret or self-doubting. Father, give me a firm heart, help me to place my full trust in whatever (good or bad in wordly concept) that you have planned for me. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. What a wonderful hope that God has for His sons and daughters! Just like any loving parents care for their own flesh and blood. God so loves the world that He gave up His one and only one son to die for us for our sins. A perfect sacrifice for imperfect sinners. Think except God there is no other people in this world that have such an immeasurable love! God is LOVE indeed.
PS: How I wish I can cut down few kilos in near future...hope to see a brand new me...Father, give me the preservance and confidence to do it k?? hehehe...

~~Christian ways to reduce stress~~

Received this forwarded email from my Christ's sister, interesting...do pause a little while to digest ya =) Be Inspired for Jesus Christ is the way!! When things seem to have no way, God is the way...

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'

1. Pray

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. 9. Pace yourself.. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17. Get enough rest.

18. Eat right.

19 Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

22. Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26.. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus.'

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).

32. Sit on your ego.

33 Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36 . Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.

GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. 'If God is for us, who can be against us?' (Romans 8:31)

~~Do Not Worry~~

As time goes by the same old question appears again and again...What's God's will for my life? How can I contribute my share in God's kingdom? This question have been gripping me ever since I came to know Christ. I am always in the search for the answer. God's timing is always perfect and different from our timing. Father, may you grant me the patience and confidence to take thing one at a time. Father, give me a light heart to treasure the process of unfolding your great love towards me. More often than not, in my frantic search for answer I stumble and miss out the joy of being an obedience servant. Happen to come across wonderful passage by Max Lucado:

"My God, I want to do what you want. Your teachings are in my heart -- Psalm 40:8

Want to know God's will for your life" Then answer this question: What ignites your heart" Forgotten orphans? Untouched nations? The inner city?...Heed the fire within! As a young man I felt the call to preach...I sought the counsel of a minister I admired..." Don't preach." he said, " Unless you have to." As I pondered his words I found my answer:" I have to. If I don't, the fire will consume me." What is the fire that consumes you? "

This reminds of Matthew 6:25-34

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink
; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying cna add a single hour to his life?

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ' what shall we eat?' or ' what shall we drink?' or ' what shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. "

Amen ^.^
